Sluice

Files new YouTube uploads from chosen creators into playlists on your own account.

Sluice is a small personal automation tool. It watches the public RSS feeds of YouTube channels you choose, applies rules you define, and adds matching new uploads to a playlist on your own YouTube account. It runs on a schedule on a server you control.

How it works

• Discovery uses each channel's public RSS feed, which needs no account access.
• Adding a video to your playlist uses the YouTube Data API, authorized by you via Google OAuth.
• It only ever writes to playlists you configure. It reads nothing else from your account.
